Denny Kidder's name has long been synonymous with high-end competition water skis and, in particular, the user-friendly rides that he crafts. The Nomad RCX is yet another fine example of what a new ski can do for your confidence on the water. Standard to Kidder design, the Nomad RCX is a stable ride with impressive acceleration characteristics. The Nomad RCX was said to be one of the safest riding skis at the test. “Once you find your spot, it feels really comfy,” says PJ McMillan. That spot is in the middle of the ski. In line with many skis designed by Kidder, you want to have a very balanced stance. A hint of toe pressure at the finish of the turn will make for a smooth finish and a morethan- manageable amount of angle starting to the next buoy. There's no need to panic with the Nomad RCX. Keeping your head in the game is a must here, as the ski responds well to the patient skier with a smooth ride through the course.

Keys to the NOMAD RCX:
• Balanced weight distribution
• Patience is the key to unlock its true potential
• Toe pressure in the turns keeps you moving at just the right speed
• Impressive cross-course speed, so be prepared
